29/09/2021 – Ver. 89 – Added Friulsider fasteners and LSL (Laminated Strand Lumber)

In the latest version of the software we added these new features:

  • Addition of Friulsider fasteners: a selection of Friulsider fasteners is now available in TimberTech Buildings. The selection includes partial threaded screws, fully threaded screws, nails and screws for plates.
  • Addition of LSL: LSL material (Laminated Strand Lumber) is now available and can be used as beams, columns, joist floors and solid wood floors. The archives include the products of the manufacturer Tabsal (LignumStrand).
  • Bug fixing and small improvements.

 

02/08/2021 – Ver. 86 – Improved verifications of framed walls, updating of KLH CLT panels, addition of Gyproc, Siniat, Rigips, Fermacell and WISA panels, addition of accidental eccentricity in report

In the latest version of the software we added these new features:

  • Improvement of the calculation checks of framed walls: now the software, for the checks reported in chapter 9.2.4.2 of Eurocode 5, allows to consider panels with a height lower than the height of the wall.
  • KLH CLT panels updated: we updated the stratigraphy of the KLH CLT panels.
  • Inclusion of Gyproc Habito: the gypsum plasterboard for structural use Gyproc Habito is now available and it can be used as sheathing panel in framed walls.
  • Inclusion of Siniat LaDura Plus, LaDura Premium e Nida Twarda Plus: Siniat plasterboard panels for structural use have been added and can now be used as bracing of the framed walls.
  • Inclusion of Rigips Rigidur H: the gypsum fibreboard for structural use Rigips Rigidur H is now available and it can be used as sheathing panel in framed walls.
  • Inclusion of Fermacell Powerpanel HD: Fermacell cement-bonded panels for structural use have been added and can now be used as bracing of framed walls.
  • Inclusion of WISA: the archive of plywood panels for structural use for the bracing of framed walls has been expanded with the addition of WISA products.
  • Added the accidental eccentricity in the calculation report.
  • Bug fixing and small improvements.

 

 

 

31/05/2021 – Ver. 84 – New graphic functions (dynamic input, possibility to edit the vertices of the floors), addition of Schillinger XLAM panels, added the concrete anchors archive, improved the verifications of the concrete anchors, updated connection interfaces and added the possibility to import polylines in dxf

In the latest version of the software we added these new features:

  • Dynamic input: thanks to the introduction of the dynamic input it is now possible to draw the structural elements in a simple and intuitive way by entering the length of the element and the angle with respect to the main axes.
  • Possibility to edit the vertices of the floors: the new feature is now available that allows you to modify, add or delete the coordinates of the points that identify the floor element.
  • Added Schillinger XLAM panels to the software archives.
  • Added the concrete anchors archive relating to mechanical and chemical anchors.
  • Updated connection definition interfaces.
  • Improved checks of concrete anchors: the verifications relating to mechanical and chemical anchors are now performed on the group of concrete anchors, with the possibility for the user to edit the value of the characteristic resistance and the relative safety coefficient.
  • Bug fixing and small improvements.

 

27/01/2021 – Ver. 83 – New module for the seismic risk classification of the buildings, the Soltech connections were added and the Essepi CLT panels were updated

In the latest version of the software we added these new features:

  • Seismic risk classification module: thanks to the additional module “Seismic risk classification of the constructions” now you can modify the magnitude of the seismic action used in the analysis by defining the percentage of modification of the maximum horizontal acceleration of the soil ag. It is also possible to automatically calculate the capacity Peak Ground Acceleration PGAc of the building and print the seismic risk classification certificate. The calculation method used is the conventional method of Annex A of the Italian Ministerial Decree n° 58 of 28 February 2017 and subsequent amendments “Guidelines for the classification of the seismic risk of buildings”.
  • Essepi CLT panels updated: we updated the stratigraphy of the Essepi CLT panels and the material properties in accordance with the new ETA
  • Soltech connections added: the range of Soltech connections and anchors is now available, including hold-downs, angle brackets, punched metal plates, screws, nails and staples.
