In the latest version of the software we have added the following new features:

• Borga Italia connections added: the user can now select the fasteners from a larger database. The connections produced by Borga Italia which were added to the internal database are: hold-down, double hold-down, timber to concrete angle brackets, timber to timber angle brackets and punched metal plates

• Added new steel profiles to the archives. We have substantially increased the number of the steel profiles with their geometric properties pre-loaded in the software. In particular we added the following sections:
  • – Europen open sections: added the following profiles to the already present IPE, HEA, HEB and HEM: IPN, HL, HD, HP, HG, UPE, UPN, UE
  • – British open sections: UB, J, UC, UBP, PFC
  • – American open sections: W, S, HP, C, MC
  • – Hollow sections: Rectangular Hot-Finished (RHS HF), Square Hot-Finished (SHS HF), Circular Hot-Finished (CHS HF), Rectangular Cold Formed (RHS CF), Square Cold  Formed (SHS CF), Circular Cold Formed (CHS CF)
• Added a new feature for the management of the portable licenses. You can now activate the automatic release of the portable license whenever you close the application. This feature is especially useful for the users who have installed TimberTech Buildings on multiple computers. Specifically, this allows the user not to forget the license associated with a computer when he/she has finished using the program. In this way he/she can then associate the same license with another machine even if he/she has not previously issued the manual release.
• New connections databases filters added. Now you can find connections faster thanks to new filter types: checkbox filter and Search filter

In the latest version of the software we have added the following new features:

• Borga Italia fasteners added: the user can now select the fasteners from a larger database. The connections produced by Borga Italia which were added to the internal database are: smooth nails, threaded nails, nails for plates, staples, screws, fully threaded screws and screws for plates
• Added command to draw load lines on the floors: the user can now apply linear loads to the floors by means of load lines
• Added the command to define linear loads on beams: it is now possible to define and apply linear loads to beams and to modify the self-weight of the beams themselves
• Further improvement in validation speed

In the latest version of the software we have added the following new features:

• Added the Operability Limit State (SLO) seismic checks: added the possibility of checking structural elements in terms of containment of damage to non-structural elements also for constructions belonging to Class III and IV (in accordance with Italian seismic code)
• Added the possibility to load spectra from file: you can now load from file the values for defining the response spectra. This feature is very useful when the user performs seismic analysis with the following ground types: S1 and S2. The same function is useful for performing analysis in which seismic action (response spectra) is defined differently from the way the software generates it automatically (Italian Standards and Eurocode).
• Added the possibility of modifying the inter-story drift limits: now you can manually modify the limiting values of the inter-story drift (dr) for checks carried out in accordance with the Italian Standards (SLD and SLO) and Eurocode (SLD)
• Added the possibility of excluding the deformation checks for cantilever beams and overhangs in case of negative displacements: Now you can choose not to check overhangs for displacements when the deformation is negative (upwards)
• Improvement of seismic definition windows: You can now separately view the response spectra generated automatically by the software for the Ultimate State Limits and for the Serviceability Limit State
• Improvement of the interface for defining connections with punched metal plates
• Improved graphics interface speed in managing very complex or large-scale models: we improved the graphic management of the 3D model increasing the speed.
• Updated internal archives for XLAM panels: added new stratigraphes for Binderholz BBS panels, added the XLAM panels of Area Legno di D.D.L. and Calet-TLF
• Added the National Annex to Eurocodes for Greece

• Greek language: you can now display the interface of the software and print the calculation report in Greek.

In the latest version of the software we have added the following new features:

• Added the floor vibrations check: now you can perform the vibrations checks of the floors (joist floors, CLT floors and solid wood floors).The checks are performed in a very accurate way, element by element; in particular the software detects the actual static scheme of every structural element and calculates the fundamental frequency of vibration f1. On the basis of the frequency f1 are then performed the following checks: stiffness criterion (deflection under a static concentrated load with intensity equal to 1 kN), acceleration criterion (for fundamental frequancy f1 less or equal to 8 Hz) and velocity criterion (for fundamental frequancy f1 greater than 8 Hz, 7.3 – UNI EN 1995-1-1).

In the latest version of the software, we have added the following new features:

• Added the command “Find by Name”: now you can search for items within the model using their name. The command lets you search for a single item at a time or a list of items. You can also filter the results according to the options “Match case” and “Match whole word”.
• Improvement of the calculation of the total wind forces acting on the structure when you select the standard “Eurocode”: The wind calculation mode has been improved considering independently the forces in X and Y direction.
